Will the tracker still work if the boat leaves the local marina?
Yes. NautiVigil is installed locally, but tracking can continue while the boat travels wherever the installed device has compatible mobile-network coverage.
Can I start with GPS and add sensors later?
In many cases, yes. Basic can be expanded with compatible monitoring such as selected hatch/door or temperature and humidity sensors. Protect adds dedicated high-water monitoring.
Do I need to manage the technical configuration myself?
No. The system is installed and configured for you. Your day-to-day use is through a private online account with direct support when needed.
